Traineeship with Scandinavian Airlines in Sydney Scandinavian Airlines' office in Sydney is a small, busy and innovative one, and we are now looking for a trainee to participate in reaching new goals and achievements. The traineeship lies within the area of Sales and Marketing. As a trainee you will have the opportunity to apply and improve your skills within areas such as e.g. text writing, traditional commercial communications, PR, sales and marketing strategy, planning of events, sponsorship management, consumer and corporate costumer relations etc. Also, you will have tasks related to the daily running of the office. You will be an integrated part of a small team where creative, new and exiting ideas aimed at improving SAS Australia's results are welcomed and supported. The position offered is fulltime with the provision to allocate one day per week to conduct an individual educational project, as may be required by your university. The traineeship will be for a period of minimum 6 to preferably 12 months, beginning in June 2006 or as soon as possible here after. The position is non-remunerative and all costs including transportation to/from Australia and living expenses are the responsibility of the trainee. It is expected that you are ambitious, self-motivated and resourceful and that you are currently studying within the areas of marketing, corporate communication, international business, business strategy or the like. Also it is expected that you speak and write English very well, as this is the spoken/written language in the office. Last but not least you must enjoy working in a small team, where a willingness to help each other and share information is of great importance.
