The Hydro Graduate Program - The starting point for your Hydro career
In Hydro we have focus on hiring and developing the workforce of tomorrow. Every year we have several Graduate positions, where we are looking for young professionals early in their careers. All positions are permanent, within different business units and areas of expertise, but all graduate positions will take part in the graduate program.

 

Graduate Junior Financial Analyst - Business Unit Recycling, Oslo
Recycling is a high-growth area for the future, fitting perfectly with the megatrend towards a circular, more sustainable and low-carbon economy. In Hydro, Recycling is one of the strategic growth pillars with ambitious targets in use of post consumed scrap in our production of green high-quality products. Business unit Recycling within Aluminium Metal operates seven recycling plants and a scrap sorting plant, and we are aiming for no less than industry leadership in aluminium recycling.

We are looking for a Junior Analyst to join our team on our growth journey. This is an unique opportunity if you want to become a part of an industrial solution of tomorrow.

 

Area of responsibility

  • Support the plants and business unit in reaching overall strategic targets
  • Perform investment analysis and support plants in business development and project execution
  • Develop benchmarking analysis and follow up performance targets
  • Drive processes to simplify and automate finance processes

 

Education

  • Industrial Economics and Technology Management
  • Applied Physics and Mathematics
  • Economics and Business Administration or similar

 

Qualifications

  • Master level degree in Business, Finance or Engineering
  • Expert skills in Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Programming skills and SAP knowledge would be an advantage
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, verbal and written
  • Skills in German, Spanish or French would be an advantage
  • Knowledge in Lean philosophy is preferable

Additional information
Extensive travelling to units in Europe and USA must be expected
